Bologna was the first Italian city to adopt a digital mapping system for its underground infrastructure.

Thanks to the precision and technological sophistication of Invento®, Open Fiber was able to accelerate deployment of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) broadband, connecting nearly 200,000 households.
This achievement positions Bologna as a strategic national model for the rollout of ultra-broadband networks, demonstrating how smart infrastructure can drive digital equity and urban innovation.
