🚧 Alessandria Launches Broadband Deployment Phase with LABS Leading Lot C

Following the approval of the final project plans, the operational phase of the Broadband Infrastructure Program in the Municipality of Alessandria is now underway. LABS – Laboratori Guglielmo Marconi – has officially been awarded the contract for Lot C which focuses on security, digitalization, and fiber optic network deployment.
The awarded work is part of the broader Marengo Hub initiative, a strategic urban regeneration program aimed at revitalizing Alessandria’s outskirts. Key elements of the plan include:
- Construction of a pedestrian and cycling path connecting Spinetta Marengo to the city center
- Environmental upgrades through district heating systems
- Recovery and enhancement of green public spaces
On June 4, 2018, the Municipality of Alessandria approved the final program of works. The documentation was submitted to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, along with a formal request for the disbursement of the first 20% of the allocated national funding.
